SUPPORT THE ARTS

IN ALLIE’S EPISODE, WE WERE REMINDED OF THE STIGMAS THAT NON-DISABLED INDIVIDUALS HAVE PLACED ON THE DISABLED COMMUNITY REGARDING THEIR ABILITY TO BE SEXY. NOW, LET’S LEARN MORE ABOUT THEIR COLLECTIVE AND DENVER’S SEXY T-REX.

Founded by Allie Soreass and Bella Brujita in 2021, Broken Babes memorializes the nickname the founders gave each other after performances that often left them sore and covered in ice packs. But that didn’t deter their love for the art form, and they have since welcomed both burlesque-curious newcomers and seasoned performers into the fold. Comprising performers with disabilities who seek to make burlesque accessible to all, Broken Babes strives to be Denver’s most inclusive burlesque troupe.
